Bruce is Professor of Primary Care Medicine at the University of Dundee Medical School, and leads the Quality, Safety and Informatics Research Group in the Centre for Primary Care and Population Research. He works part time as a General Practitioner in Fife, and has been an MRC Health Services Research Fellow at University of Edinburgh, an NHS R&D post-doctoral research fellow at University of Dundee, and a Harkness Fellow in Healthcare Policy at University of California San Francisco.
